About AsiaJCIS

The Asia Joint Conference on Information Security (AsiaJCIS) is one of the premier annual international conferences on information security in the Asian region. It brings together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present and discuss new results on the technical and practical aspects of security.

History

AsiaJCIS began in 2006 as the Joint Workshop on Information Security (JWIS) and was renamed the Asia Joint Conference on Information Security (AsiaJCIS) in 2012. It has been held every year since 2006, rotating among its four host countries — Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. AsiaJCIS 2027, hosted by Juntendo University in Japan, will be the 22nd edition. A full list of past conferences and their locations is shown in the table above.

Scope

The conference covers a broad range of topics in information security, including cryptography, network security, system and application security, AI security, digital forensics, and privacy-enhancing technologies. See the current Call for Papers for the full list of topics.

Program and Proceedings

The conference adopts a double-blind peer review process, and since 2023 the technical program has included both regular papers and short papers. Proceedings of the IEEE-published editions (2012–2024) are available on IEEE Xplore and indexed by DBLP from 2012 onward; the most recent editions have been published via EasyChair. Per-year links are listed in the table above.
