Visa Information
Participants who require a visa to enter Japan are responsible for arranging their own visa. Please check the requirements with the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country or region well in advance, as processing can take several weeks.
Whether a visa is granted is decided solely by the Japanese immigration authorities and the relevant embassy or consulate. The organizers have no influence over visa decisions and cannot guarantee that a visa will be issued.
Letter of Invitation
Upon request, the organizers can provide a letter of invitation (or a letter of participation) to support a visa application. Please note:
- Letters are issued only to authors of accepted papers who have completed registration and to registered participants.
- A letter only confirms the person's association with the conference. It does not imply any financial responsibility on the part of the organizers, and does not guarantee that a visa will be approved.
- Requests should be made after registration. Please allow sufficient time before your intended travel date.
To request a letter, please see the Contact page.
