- Central Tokyo is within easy reach: Tokyo Station (~20 min), and from there Asakusa (Sensō-ji temple), Ginza, Akihabara, and more.
- Tokyo Bay offers waterfront walks and views, with large bayside parks nearby.

Food
The bay area is known for fresh seafood and sushi, and Japan's casual izakaya pubs are a great way to unwind after sessions. A conference banquet featuring local seafood is planned — see the Social Program below.
Good to Know
- Season: the conference is in early August. Tokyo summers are warm and humid, so light clothing is recommended. It is also the season of summer festivals (matsuri) and fireworks.
- Getting around: trains are frequent and signposted in English; a rechargeable IC card (Suica / PASMO / Welcome Suica) makes travel easy.
- Hotels: there are many hotels around Maihama and Shin-Urayasu, from business hotels to bayside resorts (see the Accommodation page).
Social Program
A conference banquet featuring local seafood is planned, together with time for networking among participants. Details will be announced closer to the conference.
